About The Little One

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 1โ7 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Cutest dessert shop with fun artwork. Love the mango shaved ice and strawberry matcha latte. They have lots of options and canโt wait to come back to try the others!!

As a local, my favorite place for Kakigori in NYC! (went there multiple times for the past 3yrs) Iโve had the ones in Japan and fell in loooove with Kakigori, so when I came back to NYC I went to multiple places on the hunt for it (Tonchin, Industry City market Japanese stalls, Chelsea Market, etc.) But NOWHERE else makes it as good and authentic as The Little One. Itโs a small store & thereโs no bathroom, so I hope one day they can expand ๐ฅน. The decor is really cute, and aside from the permanent kakigori menu, they switch out seasonal flavors too!! They have other delicious sweets + drinks too, and sell larger beautifulllll cakes for occasions. Please give my favorite place some love!! ๐ซถ๐ฅบ Iโve taken multiple ppl here and they all fell in love with it as well. I live in Queens, but itโs always so worth making the time to commute allll the way there.

Such a cute little place!! I ordered an iced matcha latte and the yuzu parfait, which were both delish. The matcha is great quality! I also love how they have art prints displayed and for sale from an illustrator. Itโs great to see small businesses support each other!

We stopped in to kill some time and were pleasantly surprised. Itโs a small, cozy dessert shop with a welcoming vibe. We ordered a tea, a matcha latte, and their carrot cake. Iโm a big carrot cake fan, and this was honestly one of the best Iโve had. Iโm lactose intolerant, but Iโd still order this cake again. The cream cheese frosting wasnโt overly sweet, and the whipped cream tasted freshly made, which made it even better. If youโre in the area, itโs definitely worth stopping by for dessert, grab a tea, relax, and enjoy.

STELLAR CUTE LITTLE DESSERT SHOP that every asian girl ever dreams of. They have a great Vegan and Gluten Free Hanami Dango and a great whisked matcha. My mom got a matcha latte, and my sister got the matcha banana pudding, she claims it was super dank but alas, I do not eat dairy so I could not try it. They also have a huge shaved ice dessert that looks great to share as a group.
